Rapeseed meal
Rapeseed meal is a concentrated feed with high protein content in the form of a coarse greenish powder. This type of meal is obtained as a by-product in the production of rapeseed oil. It’s used as an additive in the diet of all types of farm animals, as well as a component in the production of animal feed.
The main nutrient in the composition of rapeseed meal is protein, the content of which can reach 42%. In terms of the composition of amino acids, in general, it is not inferior to sunflower and soybean meal. The content of lysine (a key essential amino acid) is slightly lower than in soybean meal, but higher than in sunflower meal. Rapeseed meal is rich in vitamins B4, B9 and PP and contains a number of other vitamins. It is also rich in phosphatides, potassium, phosphorus, sulfur, calcium and other valuable macro- and microelements. The total nutritional value is not less than 1,15 feed units.
Toasted rapeseed meal of the first and second grade is produced in accordance with the requirements of GOST 30257-95 "Toasted Rapeseed Meal. Technical Specifications". Compliance with the requirements of the Technical Regulations of the Republic of Belarus TR 2010/25/BY "Feed and Feed Additives. Safety” and the requirements of the "Veterinary and Sanitary Rules for Ensuring Safety of Feed, Feed Additives and Raw Materials for the Production of Compound Feed", approved by the Resolution of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus dated February 10, 2011 No. 10 (as amended by the resolution of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food dated May 20, 2011 No. 33) is confirmed by the Declaration of Conformity for rapeseed meal of the 1st and 2nd grade No. BY/112 11.01. TR025 005.01 02265 dated June 01, 2023 valid till Мay 31, 2028.
